This service is managed by Provincial Employment and Income Assistance.

Individuals/families in need of a voucher for shelter and food after 4:30 can telephone 1-866-559-6778. They will be conneted to an on-call center. The intake worker at the on-call centre will relay the information to the Employment and Income Assistance worker on call, who will contact the individual and decide whtether or not to authorize assistance.

Between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (MOnday to Friday) individuals can phone Employment and Income Assistance in Brandon at 726-6428 or toll free at 1-866-726-6438 or visit them at their offices in the provincial building (2nd floor, 340 - 9th St).
