We are a non profit organization operating in conjunction with Brandon Community Welcome and under the direction of Westman Coalition for Employment Opportunities.

Programs

Our goal is to find employment for post-psychiatric clients and members of the public with mental health problems to suit their needs and abilities. Most employment is on a casual basis.

Program Components

We offer help in finding suitable employment. We offer support, training and help with transport to jobs. We offer opportunity to be involved as a member of the TEP Steering Committee.

Eligibility for Programs All persons must become a member of the TEP program and have experienced mental health problems or a mental illness.

Services

Transitional Employment Program is located in Brandon Community Welcome Co-op Inc (Welcome Inn). and is sponsored by the Westman Coalition for Employment Opportunities.  TEP's focus is the reintroduction of work opportunities for persons with a psychiatric disability.  The format of the program is casual employment.

Eligibility for Services

Open to most individuals who have experienced psychiatric health issues.
How to Access the Services

Accessed by referral or self-referral. An application process is part of the registration protocol.

No cost.
Hours

Monday-Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm
Other Relevant Information

Members work for individuals, large and small businesses and organizations.
