The Westman Coalition for Employment Opportunities (WCEO) is a partnership of service providers located in the Westman Region of Manitoba that serve the employment needs of individuals living with disabilities. Partners collaborate to develop and deliver an effective client centered employment service network that includes people living with disabilities, agencies, employers and the community. Our goal is to provide employment services to clients living with a disability in the Westman Region of Manitoba that will prepare and support them to obtain and maintain employment or self-employment. Services are client driven and are geared to match clients’ individual need and abilities to sustainable employment. Clients benefit by having access to a broad range of services that can lead to full participation, education opportunities, employment and integration into the community. Objectives are to provide a seamless continuum of employment and training programs; to prevent duplication of service; to enhance resources among partners; to promote client self-sufficiency and to fill identified gaps in service. Project services and activities fit into four main categories. These are Supported Employment, Employment Placement, Education and Skill Development. |
