| Services | The unit now consists of 6 recovery beds; length of stay can be as long as one year, if it fits in with an individual recovery plan. |
| Eligibility for Services |
It is co-ed and for individuals over 18 years of age. The individuals must be committed to and actively involved in recovery programs in the community. Residents must follow house rules some of which include: absolutely no alcohol or drug use personally or brought into the residence, participating in keeping the house & yard clean and tidy and no verbal or physical abuse of anyone. |
| How to Access the Services |
Individuals can be referred by Agencies or call themselves. Phone lines are monitored by Board Members. Individuals will be interviewed by a board member and then a meeting is set up with the residents already in the house for a "sharing" session. If all goes well then a moving date is agreed upon. |
| Costs |
Individuals pay rent and a security deposit, both of which are expected when the resident moves in. The rent is set according to Employment & Income Assistance guidelines for single people. |
